ANTI SLAVERY & TRAFFICKING

We have a zero tolerance stance to slavery and human trafficking and Betts Associates Limited is committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our commitment is to act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in out supply chains. 


As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we have in place systems to:


  • Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
  • Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
  • Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
  • Protect whistle blowers. 

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide awareness training to our staff.

Under the provisions of the Bribery Act 2010, which came into force in 2011 and the statutory duties of employers and employees. To enable these statutory duties to be carried out, it is the Policy of this Organisation, so far as is reasonably practicable, to safeguard against bribery or corruption carried out by any of its employees or Directors, or by anyone working on its behalf.


Any allegation of bribery by an employee or Director will be investigated in accordance with Betts disciplinary procedures and may be reported to the authorities as appropriate.
